THE NEW DIMENSION OF SUSTAINABILITY
More productivity with reduced energy consumption and CO₂ reduction.
Hydraulic components already have a very high efficiency. However, in the architecture as well as the control technology of the hydraulic system, there is still potential for both energy savings and reduction of CO₂ emissions as well as for increased productivity.
One example is the hydraulic control of the pressure and volume flow (p/Q). Depending on the load cycle and application conditions, an energy saving of 30 percent could be achieved in a hydraulic press application with a multi-axis system.
THE NEW DIMENSION OF CONTROL TECHNOLOGY
Know-how Transformation from hardware to software
In the past, know-how in hydraulic control technology was bound to hardware (hardware centric). Today, the know-how is increasingly being shifted to software apps - independent of the hardware (software centric). The H4U (Hydraulics For You) platform from Bosch Rexroth reflects this in industrial hydraulics. Hydraulic control functions are realised in software with H4U.apps.
This enables hardware-independent integration into existing automation systems. At the same time, a uniform, user-friendly design of the apps and intuitive usability simplify the use of hydraulics – "Hydraulics For You".
THE NEW DIMENSION OF ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY
More economic efficiency and future proofness during the entire life cycle.
Software-integrated hydraulics functions increase economic efficiency and future proofness over the entire life cycle. With the H4U.apps, end users achieve higher productivity, energy efficiency and reduce their carbon footprint.
In addition, H4U enables increased flexibility, e.g. when changing production facilities to meet changing customer requirements. Adaptation of the hardware is no longer necessary.
THE NEW DIMENSION OF INDEPENDENCE
Control-independent Software hydraulic functions
By implementing the H4U.Apps on the already existing control hardware, costs and effort for supplementary training are saved.
In addition, the software modules can be used to simulate machines and systems as well as production processes throughout and to calculate the energy savings in advance. This saves time in engineering and commissioning.
